The Art Asylum:

Our aim is to showcase the very best local art using an online gallery.

• We provide artists the opportunity to exhibit their work to a growing audience and maximize their chances of selling.
• We maximize artists’ chances of selling by showcasing their artwork on social media.
• All customers have direct contact with the artist.
• Artists portfolio page inlcudes contact details, a bio, and a hyperlink to their website or a social media channel.
• The Art Asylum is a curated online gallery and the standard of artwork must meet the standards set by our curator.

Your bit:

We look at it as a 2-way partnership and we all have a part to play:

• The price of the artwork is set by the Artist.
• We’d like you to keep The Art Asylum up to date with your news, exhibitions, workshops (etc) so we can help you promote them.
  
• Artists are encourage to sign their work and provide a certificate of authenticity.
• We’d love it if you helped to promote us too!

What we can’t do:

There are a number of things we simply can’t do:

• We encourage viewers to the website but we can’t make them visit your profile.
• We try to make it as easy as possible for viewers to contact you but sadly we can’t make them buy from you!
• We’re more than happy to promote your events but we can’t make people attend – sorry.

Charges:

• We have a monthly charge of £10 per month OR £100 annually, minimum of 1 year; there are NO commission fees!
• If, for any reason, you want to cancel the contract you are free to do so, you just have to let us know. We require one month’s notice.
